Dracula – The Final Countdown

by Geoff Bamber

Synopsis

A comic and melodramatic retelling of Bram Stoker’s story. Solicitor Jonathan Harker finds himself dispatched to Transylvania to sort out a property deal for a mysterious Dr. Acula. On arrival, Harker realises that he has been the victim of a misprint, but he is so charmed by his welcome that he fails to realise he has become something of a prisoner. Harker’s plight is made more acute by the attentions of the Brides of Dracula, who appear to have less than honourable intentions. With the improbable assistance of Dracula’s servent, Igoretta, Harker escapes and returns to England, where, shortly afterwards, his fiance finds herself in the company of a mysterious foreign gentleman, Little does she realise what is at stake…
